Job Description - Candle Studio Assistant & Sales Associate

We are looking for a seasonal employee to help us handle the weekend operation of our storefront in Downtown Rogers! This person must be available to work on Saturday (6 hours) and Sunday (4 - 6 hours). This position has the possibility of becoming permanent.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Assist customers with candle scent selection with a positive and cheerful attitude.
  • Assist the store owners with candle production as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the owners on store layout, displays, and organization.
  • Assist with updating inventory using the Shopify platform.
  • Help store owners with community events and collaborations.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized shop. This includes performing closing duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting the shelves.
  • Packaging online orders and preparing store pickup orders.
  • Assist with pop up markets and shows as needed. 
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
  • Assist with social media content creation.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be available to work weekends (Sat & Sun)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in social media platforms 
  • Ability to work comfortably in a small, collaborative environment 
  • Punctuality, attention to detail, and a focus on quality control 
  • Polite and cheerful attitude with customers (and co-workers!) 
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to stand or walk for up to 3 hours at a time 

Compensation: $15/hr & 30% employee discount
